In this hands-on workshop, Lilly Mae will demonstrate several of her favorite finishing techniques – including the beautiful Frozen Pond, Peacock, and Underglaze Transfer methods – while sharing the principles behind layering color, creating depth, and enhancing form.
Participants will learn how and why each technique works, then apply the methods to their own bisque-fired pottery with individual guidance throughout the workshop.
Whether you’re looking to add richness to your functional pottery or explore new creative possibilities, you’ll leave inspired with new ideas, practical skills, and beautifully decorated pieces ready for their glaze firing.
Participants should bring 3–5 clean bisque-fired pieces.
Suitable for beginner to intermediate potters.
