Turn your one-of-a-kind surface-designed papers into enchanting mini books! In this 2-hour hands-on workshop, we’ll explore several simple yet beautiful book structures perfect for showcasing your cyanotypes, rust-dyed papers, or other specialty prints.
You’ll learn how to fold, cut, and bind a variety of small book forms—perfect for creating pocket-sized art journals, keepsakes, or gifts. Along the way, Beth will share tips for composition, page flow, and ways to highlight the textures, patterns, and imagery in your handmade papers.
What to bring:
- A selection of your own surface-designed or specialty papers (cyanotypes, rust-dyed, hand-painted, monoprints, etc.)
- Scissors, ruler, and glue stick (if you have favorites—extras provided)
Provided:
- Additional filler papers, adhesives, and tools
- Step-by-step guidance and inspiration
