FIVE Monthly Thursday Sessions (Jan 23/Feb 27/Mar 27/Apr 24/May 22) • 4pm-5pm

This exciting new program from the Wass clay department introduces children aged 6–10 to the basics of ceramic hand-building and glazing using unique and fun spins on beginner projects, such as face pinch pots, and cool coil creations. With guidance from ceramist Hope Wallace, students will also be learning how to use a slab roller then using those techniques to create an animal of the student’s choice. Each of the 5 classes allows the students to work at their own pace and skill level. Sessions will focus on key ceramic techniques and culminates in final projects incorporating all hand-building skills covered in the course.

Open to ages 6-10. Student must commit to all 5 sessions. Class is every 4th Thursday of the month, starting on January 23 and ending on May 22.
