A special exhibit honoring the delicate, colorful legacy of Irene Robenalt, a lifelong artist who spent decades hand-painting porcelain china with graceful blooms & berries in extraordinary array of colors.
Born in 1911 in the Lima area, Irene began china painting in the 1950s, gathering women around her dining room table and later working from her home studio.
Though she never painted for profit, Irene generously gifted her pieces to family for weddings, graduations, and birthdays. From tea sets to serving platters, each item in this collection is a vibrant reflection of her love for nature, artistry, and family.
