Twisted Rose Ring Class with Suzy Stripe

Sunday – April 28th 2pm-4pm

Learn how to create this whimsical and fun copper rose ring! Suzy will guide you through the easy to follow process (which includes antiquing)! Copper is an incredibly beginner friendly metal that also holds many beneficial properties. Every ring will be beautiful and unique to you as no two rings ever look exactly alike! Once you create one, you’ll want to create more which is why Suzy will also send you home with instructions. Make them as gifts or create more with friends and family!

Basic Drawing Class

Basic Drawing Class

3 Day Class, Saturday – April 13, 20, 27, 10am-12:30pm

Taught by Stacy Inglorion, a seasoned artist and instructor, learn the basics and techniques of drawing using simple forms and drawing them from life. Beginners and advanced artists can take something from this class. It is not designed for a finished drawing, but rather gaining tools to complete and improve on your own skills. Students will learn a method to draw proportions accurately, study values, and see light and shadow definitely. Learning to draw is also a tool gained that can be brought into paintings and other medias.

Yoga in the Gallery

Join instructor Gretchen Miller for a morning of mindful movement and relaxing meditation. Doors open at 8:30am (water and light refreshments are complimentary). Yoga mats provided (or bring your own)! This is an absolutely beautiful way to spend your morning.

Join us for Lil ArtReach! Young makers ages 5 & under are invited for story time followed by a small craft. Lil ArtReach is geared towards makers 5 & under but big siblings are welcome. Caretaker/s are required to accompany young makers.

Oil Painting with Dr. Trimble

Every Other Thursday, 6-9 pm

Instructor: Dr. Trimble
Oil Painting with Dr. Trimble is a great class to navigate the medium of oil painting. This class is targeted for beginning and advanced artists. Each class will focus on specific techniques through brief discussions and demonstrations. Participants will learn to use these techniques in real time by producing a painting, not just doing exercises. Each lesson can stand alone or be a part of the whole experience. The level of commitment is entirely up to you and our instructor, Dr. T, will help you every step of the way.
This is an ongoing class every other Thursday, 6-9 pm.

Join our Watercolor Techniques class which is an ongoing class that has been running at the Wassenberg Art Center for more than 10 years! Watercolor Techniques is a great class for advanced artists and beginners. Each class will focus on a specific watercolor technique or style through brief discussions and demonstrations. Artists will have work time to practice/experiment with the technique, style or their own art ideas while our instructors will help you along the way.

A hands-on after school program where makers have the freedom to create, imagine and experience art in their own unique way.
Cost is $10 member/ $12 non-member per week. Payment can be made for 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks.
